Butyl pond liner throughout the pond industry is known as the best material for lining ponds because of its imperishable qualities and its ability to withstand the severity of both frost and UV radiation.

Swedish Butyl pond liner is unique to other pond lining materials in that its properties are not affected by extreme temperature fluctuations and so it always returns to its original dimensions after stretching. Therefore, butyl's strength and elasticity remain practically unchanged for decades, without shrinkage, brittleness, melting or cracking.

Available in 0.75mm and 1.00mm grades, all Swedish Butyl pond liners come with a fully authenticated lifetime guarantee.

The 0.75mm grade provides strength, durability and flexibility enabling you to lay your liner as neatly as possible which is essential for deep or irregular shaped ponds. It is suitable for all types of garden, ornamental, wildlife ponds and lakes, with 1.00mm available for tougher applications.

Butyl pond liner is also suitable for larger installations as it can be welded on site using a hot bonding machine. However, sheets up to 42m x 30m can be fabricated in our workshop before onsite welding needs to take place.
