Butyl Liners

Swedish Butyl is unique to other pond lining materials in that its properties are not affected by varying temperatures and so it always returns to its original dimensions after stretching. Its cross-linked molecular structure means that ageing or changes in characteristics are negligible despite decades of exposure to the atmosphere, sunlight UV radiation, chemical fallout, water or major temperature fluctuations. Therefore, butyl's strength and elasticity remain practically unchanged for decades, without shrinkage, brittleness, melting or cracking.

The features of butyl rubber are utilised in a wider range of water containment applications ranging from drinking and irrigation water, fish farming and large garden ponds to waste water lagoons, reservoirs and effluent pits etc.

Epalyn Liners

Epalyn can also be bonded on site by the splicing technique using a hot air bonder.

Polypropylene Liners

Polypropylene geomembranes offer extremely high resistance to weathering, UV, chemical, puncture, tear, abrasion and cold weather. Polypropylene liners are very flexible and have excellent dimensional stability.

Polypropylene is used widely in exposed waste water treatment ponds, effluent lagoons, large lake liner and reservoirs etc.

In many cases we opt for polypropylene as a modern containment membrane. It offers a wide range of benefits and proven performance and is both cost effective and practical for larger ponds, lake liner applications or lagoons.
