Comprising of special filtration pumps from the Aquamax, Promax and Profimax ranges, these pumps will displace even heavily polluted pond water with no problem. One of the Biotec UVC clarifiers will then start to work on attacking the algae and pathogens. The final team player of the system is the Biotec or Proficlear flow-through filter, or Filtoclear pressure filters, which will thoroughly filter the pond water and biologically break down excess nutrients.
Gravity-fed BioSys Sets and Filtoclear Pressurised Sets also come with a Biokick filter starter for the initial settlement of microorganisms.
Your filter system should continuously run from the first warm days in spring to the first cold nights in autumn.
You can even create a waterfall or stream feature using the returning filtered water from the filter, or in the case of the pressurised Filtoclear Sets, pump the water upwards to the top of a stream or waterfall.
